Question by "xmaggotx":

“I’ve recently re-installed my sims 2 game on my computer after getting a new hard drive

but for some reason it freezes after 10 minutes and The screen looks all weird and I have to re start my computer and i don’t know why its doing that.

and the screen/graphics kinda flicker while i’m playing and it looks all green.”

Normally, whenever any PC game freezes with distorted images it means the graphics card is overheating. If it isn’t overheating, then the driver needs to be updated.

I would try turning down some of the graphic settings inside the game, update the driver, and make sure there is plenty ventilation to the PC. If it is a laptop, try placing it on a cool surface. Also, see if there are any updates for Sims 2 from their website if you haven’t done so already.

If you still have this issue, you may have to replace the graphics card if you have a desktop PC.

Hope this helps!
